Wilpattu National Park is Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest national park. It's known for its forests, open grasslands, and many natural lakes. It’s located in the northwest, around a four-hour drive from Colombo, and is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to spot wildlife. Some of the highlights being leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and a wide variety of birdlife.
