We lived in Poznan for almost three years, and we still regularly return as the city has so much to offer. We love walking around the Old Market Square, admiring the beautiful architecture and relaxing in the many parks scattered across the city. After a long day of exploring, there’s no better place to unwind than Poznan swimming pool called Termy Maltanskie which is one of the largest wellness complexes in Poland.
In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know before visiting, including ticket options, prices, opening hours and how to get there.

Poznan Swimming Pool – Zones, Prices & Booking your Tickets
Termy Maltanskie is very affordable, especially compared to what you could pay in Western Europe. Pricing varies depending on the zone (Sports, Aqua, Saunsas) you book and the duration of your visit.
You can book your ticket online directly through the Termy Maltanskie website or just pay at the till when you get there. Before purchasing, be sure to check the opening hours for each zone, as they differ throughout the complex. Below is a quick overview of what the zones offer, their opening hours and the pricing (updated as of June 2026):
Blue Zone (Sports Swimming Pools)
Blue Zone is designed for swimmers wanting to train or enjoy a workout. This zone only includes access to lane pools, but not to the aquapark or saunas.
Prices:
£4 for 1 hour
£6 for 2 hours.
Opening Hours:
Monday – Saturday: 6am – 11pm
Sunday and Public Holidays: 7am – 11pm
Green Zone (Acquapark Access)
Green Zone allows you to use the aquapark, offering exciting slides, salt baths, relaxation pools, hot tubs and much more! One of our favorite features is the heated outdoor pool, where you start swimming indoors before emerging outside, even in the middle of winter.
In the summer there are also various other attractions including outdoor slides, an obstacle course and a man made beach that creates a proper holiday atmosphere.
Prices:
£9 for 1 hour
£12 for 2 hours
£15 for 3 hours
£22 for a full day
Purchasing the tickets to the aquapark also entitles you to use the sport pools if you fancy a workout as well.
Opening Hours:
Monday – Sunday: 9am – 11pm
Yellow Zone (Saunas)
This is one of the largest sauna complexes in Poland, and an excellent place to relax. There are over a dozen saunas and steam rooms, including a herbal steam room, Turkish bath, a snow cave and a relaxation area with heated loungers.
Please bear in mind that in Poland swimwear is generally not permitted inside the saunas. We usually wrap a towel around us, which feels comfortable and it’s been mostly accepted.
Prices:
£11 for 1 hour
£14 for 2 hours
£17 for 3 hours
£26 for a full day
Getting the yellow zone tickets also gives you access to the aquapark and sport pools. We usually choose the 3-hour option, which gives plenty of time to enjoy the entire complex without feeling rushed.
Please note that the saunas do not open until later in the day, so if you want to go there plan your visit in the afternoon or in the evening.
Opening Hours:
Monday – Friday: 3pm – 11pm
Saturday – Sunday: 12pm – 11pm

Getting to Poznan Swimming Pool
Termy Maltanskie is located on the outskirts of the city, so if you want to walk from the centre it would take you around 1 hour. We actually did it once, but there are great transport links that we recommend using instead!
The best way to get to the Poznan swimming pool is by tram. Trams number 6 and 8 go directly from the centre and drop you off at Termalna Tram Stop, located just 10 minutes walk away from the complex. You can expect the journey to take around 20-30 minutes and it costs around £2 for a ticket. There are ticket machines at the main tram stops, or most trams you can now buy a ticket on. We recommend using JakDojade to check up to date schedules and the best transport links from wherever you’re staying in the city.
Uber, Grab and Free Now taxi apps are widely used in Poznan. If you want to travel in comfort you can expect to pay around £5 for the journey. Depending on traffic, it will take around 15 minutes from the centre.

Other Things to Know
As we visited Poznan swimming pool over 10 times, we have some other useful tips to help you prepare for your visit.
- Don’t forget to bring sliders / flip flops and a towel. This might feel obvious but they definitely come in handy.
- You don’t need to bring a padlock. When you present your ticket, you’ll receive a wristband. Once inside the changing area, you can use the touchscreen to select an available locker. The locker will then be assigned to your wristband. You can change the language to English if needed!
- Please bear in mind that they’re pretty strict on the time limits and if you exceed it, you will pay an additional £0.2 for each minute. While this may not sound like much, the extra charges can add up quickly.
- If you want a proper shower after the pool, please note that there are no private cabins. Showers are located in a shared area, although private changing cubicles are available afterwards.
- Weekends and school holidays can get pretty busy. Also, during the weekday mornings there might be some kids swimming lessons so bear this in mind if you want to use the sport pools. We recommend coming on a weekday late afternoon / evening if you want to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.
- There’s a small cafe and restaurant, however options are limited. If you’re hungry afterwards, we recommend Marche in Posnania shopping mall, which is located only 7-minutes tram ride away.
